OBITUARY
Marion (Reid) Shama
January 29, 1928 – June 30, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Elizabeth Shama (nee Reid) at home, on Saturday June 30, 2018 at the age of 90 surrounded by her Husband and three children.
Beloved wife for 63 years of Arthur Joseph Shama, cherished mother of Barry (Barb), Robert (Bonnie), and Elizabeth. Devoted grandmother of Laurell, Amanda, Michael, Sara, Graham, Parker, Andrea, and Will.
Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Marion is predeceased by parents Margaret and Barry Reid and siblings Barb (Clarke) and Wally.
Marion was an active member of the Baie D’Urfe community, devoted to her church, gardening, painting and volunteerism. She always thought of others in all of her endeavors and loved her family dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held at Saint-George’s Anglican Church, on Saturday July 7 at 11 am. (23 Perrault Rue, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC H9X 2C6. (514) 457-6934) Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saint-George’s Anglican Church, would be appreciated.
