McKerroll, Marion Kathleen (nee Goss)(Longtime Member of Barrie & Capreol Rebekah Lodges, Past Employee of Avon Canada, Eaton’s Sudbury, Sudbury School Board, Huronia Regional Centre and Retired Real Estate Agent)
Passed away at Owen Hill Community Care, Barrie on Saturday March 10, 2018 at the age of 89. Marion was born on the family farm in Fairvalley, near Coldwater, ON in 1928. Beloved wife of the late Allister McKerroll of Barrie and formerly of Orillia and Capreol. Loving mother of Linda Birney (Briane) of Napanee, Diane Redman (Norman) of Welland, Mary Sue Bourget (Rick) of Whitefish Falls, Bud (Mary Anne) of Barrie and Glen of Fort Myers, FLD. Proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Cherished sister of the late Irene Hawke, Leslie Goss, Clifford Goss, Harold Goss, Melville Goss and Wilbert Goss. The family wishes to thank Lenka and all of the excellent staff of Owen Hill Community Care for their care of our mother over the past 2 years. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Sunday March 18, 2018 from 7-9 PM. Then on Monday March 19, 2018 from 1 PM until time of Funeral Service at 2 PM in the chapel. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s – St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia.
