Obituary of Mario Concessi
CONCESSI- Mario of Port Colborne passed away peacefully at Northland Pointe, on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Concessi (2016), loving father of Chris (Diana), dear grandfather of Kandy (Joe), Mitchell and Corey, great grandfather of Emma, Elliot, Thalia and Ivy Rose, brother of Lena Defend, Fred (Irene), Frank and Silvio. Also survived by dear nieces Eleanor (Clay), Pam (Carl) and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Antonio and Ernestina Concessi, his sister Annie and his brother Elio. Mario was a teacher and vice principal at Port Colborne High School for 25 years from where he retired. A special thank you to the staff at Northland Pointe for all their care for the past 2 years. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m. The Funeral Service will follow in the Davidson Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Father Brian Bevan officiating. Rite of Committal will take place at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church.
