After a courageous battle with brain cancer, Mario peacefully passed away in Ottawa with his family by his side, at the age of 70. Born in Force, Italy to parents Vincenzo and Eva Trevisani. Loving husband of 49 years to Donna Marie (nee Laderoute). Proud dad to Glen (Kerry) and Daniel (Tracy). Very proud and loving Nonno to Vanessa, Nicole, Carson, Carissa and Kyle. Will be sadly missed by many friends and family in Hamilton, Westmeath, Ottawa and Italy. Mario was a retiree of Stelco and a long time member of the Hamilton YMCA. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 947 Rymal Road E. Hamilton, from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the ‘William J. Markey Chapel’ Bay Gardens Funeral Home, Hamilton on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 3:00pm. Cremation has taken place, and a private family Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made at www.baygardens.ca
