Marilyn Jean (Steeves) Beaman
1942-2018
Marilyn Jean (Steeves) Beaman, 75, of The Glades, NB, passed
away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Moncton Hospital with her family by
her side. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late W. Alfred
and Dorothy Jean (Preston) Steeves and beloved wife of Cyril
Beaman.
Marilyn worked in the Loan Department of the Bank of Nova
Scotia until she became a Mother and chose to stay home with her
children. She later went to work in food service at the Jordan Life
Care Centre. Marilyn enjoyed doing crafts, including sewing, and loved
music, especially bluegrass. Marilyn was always a social
butterfly.
In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by her
children Tyler and Todd (Rachelle), grandchildren Sébastien
and Nicolas LeBlanc (Kelsey), sister Noreen Prosser, nieces Dianne
Beaman, Pamela Wilson, Bonnie Steeves, nephews Laurie Beaman, Glen
Prosser, cousins and many special friends.
Besides her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her brother,
James P. Steeves.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800) where visiting
will take place on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 7 – 9 pm. A
Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, April 18,
2018 at 2 pm with Pastor Lloyd O’Blenes officiating.
Interment will be in the Glades Baptist cemetery at a later
date.
If desired, memorials to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital
Palliative Care Unit or donor’s choice would be appreciated
by the family.
