Marilyn Elsie Spinney (MacDonald) born November 28, 1939 passed away peacefully with family around her on June 1, 2018. Daughter of John and Celia MacDonald of Mount Denson, Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by her husband George Spinney and son Gregory. Survived by her brother Bob (Carole) MacDonald Mount Denson, Wendall (Linda) MacDonald, Halifax, Gary (Marie) MacDonald, Mount Pearl and brother-in-law Howard ( Diane) Spinney, Lunenburg. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Joanna (John) Ogletree, Kingston NS, son Karry (Patti) Spinney, Airdrie AB and daughter Donna (Rick) Janes, Beaverbank,NS.
She was a wonderful Gramma to Jason Osborne, Alicia Ogletree (Jason), Melanie (Chris) Acker, Jeremy (Lisa) Ogletree, Krista Ogletree (Matt), Ashley (Jeff) Tatlock, Demmie Janes (David). She had a special place in her heart for her cherished great grandchildren Nicholas, Mackenzie, Ryland, Hudson, Evelyn and Georgia as well as one great great grandchild Riley. She leaves behind her dear cat Tiger also known as Gramma’s boy. Marilyn was a very beautiful person and had a heart of gold and a smile that warmed your heart and lit up your face. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her and be embraced by one of her famous hugs. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. 902-825-3448 with Rev Bill McLeod officiating. Interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery. Donations in Marilyn’s
