Marie Cody
1941-2018
Peacefully, on Sunday,
September 16, 2018, Marie Cody passed away, surrounded by her loving
family, at L.H.S.C., Victoria Hospital at the age of
77.
She is finally free
from the cancer that claimed her life.
Beloved wife of the
late Jim Cody and devoted common law spouse of the late Ervin Brix.
Loving mother of the late Daniel and Phillip (Debra). Dear step-mother
of Jimmy (Cheryl), Lawrence (Lynda) and Chris (Taunia). Grandmother of
Jamie, Benny, Caylee (Sandy), Paige (Chad), Bryce, Amber, Ashley,
Adam, the late Chad, Jeffrey (Chrissy), Stephen (Lisa), Andrew (Amy),
Katelyn, Shelby, Devon, Nathan and Zachary. Great-grandmother of
Breanne, Conor, Hallie, Quinn, Aveh, Jade and Deacon. Sister of the
late Karen (the late Pier) Andersen, Johanne (Stewart) McIntosh (the
late Tony Ansems). Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews,
extended family and friends.
Marie was a
feisty and courageous soul with an avid love for travelling,
gardening, puzzles and most importantly spending time with her family
and friends.
Private graveside
service will be conducted at St. Peter’s
Cemetery.
A celebration of
Marie’s life will be held at Evans Funeral
Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., London, Ontario (1 block east
of Egerton St.), on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 7-9
p.m.
Donations to the
Canadian Cancer Society will be acknowledged by the
family.
