THOMPSON, Marian Johanna
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marian Thompson in her 66th year. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband and children on Sept 17, 2018. She was born in Breda, Netherlands in 1952 and immigrated with her family to Canada in 1955. She leaves behind her devoted and loving husband of 35 years Murray and children Lesley (Laurent) and Curtis. Marian was the youngest of three children of Ann and George van den Kieboom, predeceased. She will be missed by her brother Jan van den Kieboom (Roberta) from Mountain View, California and Sister Els Orr (Al) from Mailla, Ontario and many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends from here and abroad. Marian was a dedicated family woman, avid traveller, legal secretary and homemaker who raised two beautiful children. In her spare time she relished sewing and shared this passion by teaching others to sew where ever she lived. Marian will be lovingly remembered and always missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
