Obituary of Maria McDonnell
Suddenly on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at North York General Hospital . Beloved daughter of Kathleen and the late Austin McDonnell. Loving sister of John (Brenda), Tom (Mala), and Catherine (Jeff) Houghton. Most fantastic aunt of Sean, Patrick, Edward, William, and Shannon and great-aunt of Aria. Marie will be fondly remembered by her many friends and relatives. She was a dedicated nurse for more than 30 years and devoted much of her life to St. Edward the Confessor Parish. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home ( 6150 Yonge St. , at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church ( 75 Churchill Ave. ). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
