Maria « Ria » Theresa Leusink
Passed away on August 31, 2018
Passed away peacefully, at Stirling Heights LTC, on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the age of 83.
Reunited with her loving husband Herman Leusink (1994) and her brother Bill Derks. Loving mother of Fran Baker and Herman (Keira). Cherished Oma of Nina and James and proud Oma-Oma of Lillian and Violet Parker. Ria will also be lovingly remembered by her brothers Gerry (Marietje) and Peter (Thera), sister-in-law Betty Derks, brother-in-law Henk Leusink (Riet) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation at the T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge (519-623-1290) on Monday, September 3rd from 6 – 9 p.m. Prayers will be said at 8:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, 10 St. Gregory’s Drive, Cambridge on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Brian Quigley officiating. Burial at Mount View Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Comboni Missionaries or the Cambridge Right to Life would be appreciated by the family.
