April 5, 1930 – December 6, 2018
DERESCHEWITZ, Maria Luise –Suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday December 6, 2018 at the age of 88. Maria is predeceased by her husband Werner. Beloved mother of Henry (Bonnie), Heidi Cullen (Rick), Angie Reid (Jim), and Bernie (Robin). Cherished Oma of Zachary, Eric, Natalie, Nikki, Tyler, Josh, Olivia and Lily. Visitation will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL , 1587 Highway 2, Courtice, ON (905) 432-8484 on Saturday December 15, 2018 from 1p.m. until 2p.m. Graveside service to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Whitby. To keep Marie’s memory growing, the family has asked, that if your wish is to send flowers, that you please consider a plant that could be replanted in the springtime to honour her love of gardening. Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society of Durham would be appreciated.
