Peacefully at home on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Vincenzo. Loving mother of Gianmarco and Elissa Rassi (Alex). Devoted and adoring Nonna of Massimo and Mia, whom she enjoyed precious time with. Predeceased by her parents Lucia and Giorgio Musca. She is survived by her brother Silvano (Carmela). Sister-in-law of Maria and Peter Biasone. Dear aunt of Kristina, Vanessa, Alex and Francesca. She will be dearly missed by her aunts, cousins numerous family members and friends. She took pride in helping her family establish Musca Wines. She also loved her career as an educator and taught for many years until her retirement at Elgin Street Public School. Special thanks to all the nurses (Katherine and Sue) from St Elizabeth, her oncologist Dr. Rachel Goodwin and all of the nurses from the Queensway hospital Cancer unit for the wonderful care. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Friday to Madonna de la Risurrezione Church (Fisher Ave.) for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 am. Entombment Pinecrest Cemetery. At Maria’s request in memoriam donations rather than flowers may be made to Breast Cancer Research, Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or CHEO.
