Marguerite « Marg » Louise Theriault
September 6, 1932 – November 22, 2018
Marguerite “Marg” Louise Theriault (Ross) – Age 86 of East Ferry passed away peacefully on November 22, 2018 while in the wonderful care of Conway House in Tideview Terrace.
Born in Yarmouth on September 6, 1932, Marg was a daughter of the late Wile and Ada (Frost) Ross. Marg had a strong faith and was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Marshalltown and then St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Digby once St. Theresa’s has closed. Marg loved her family, friends and her pets. She shared many wonderful memories with her grandsons and had numerous laughs and fun times with her granddaughter and great-granddaughter. She was a loving, kind and considerate lady and she welcomed anyone in her home. Marg enjoyed daily visits to her daughter and son-in-laws home and when she no longer could stay in her own home, her daughter, Valerie and son-in-law, Wayne would travel to spend every afternoon with her.
Marg is survived by her loving family: daughter, Valerie (Wayne); sons, Wayne, Paul (Roxanne); grandchildren, Stacey (Claire), Chris (Lisa), Paul Jr., Victoria; great-grandchildren, Ty, Dylan, Ryker, Maverick, Isabella; brothers, Brian, Greg (Cathy) also several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Newman; brothers, Bill, Paul and Joe.
Visitation is 2-4 pm, Wednesday November 28 at Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby (902-245-2525). Funeral Mass at 11am, Thursday November 29 at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Digby. Interment in East Ferry Cemetery, Across the Meadow, East Ferry, NS at a later date.
