Marguerite « Daisy » Quimby
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of the awesome Marguerite (Daisy) Quimby at the age of 97 on Saturday, May 19, 2018, peacefully with her family by her side. Pre-deceased by her mother, Nellie Wiedbusch (1976). She was the loving wife of the late great Leo (Buck) Quimby (1995). Treasured mother of Nancy (Walter 2017) Oakley, Michael (2015) (Theresa) Quimby, Brian (Linda) Quimby, and Patrick (Terry) Quimby. Grandmother to 11 and ‘Old Grandma’ to 22.
Daisy was an incredibly strong, smart, and witty woman living independently her way, all the way to the end. She lived a long and full-life enjoying her travels across the world, reading whatever she could get her hands on and a
strong supporter and avid participant of the Senior Games. She loved camping, sports of all kinds, and crossword puzzles. She was an active member of the LaSalle Friendship Club and enjoyed playing Pepper. She was a rockstar to her family, and her memories will continue to make us smile for years to come.
In Daisy’s memory, donations to the charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
