Griffith; Margot 1962-2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margot Antoinette Griffith at the age of 56 on September 24, 2018. Loving mother to Adam & Emily.
Dear daughter of predeceased parents, Cecil Llyod Griffith & Ellen Johnson. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. She was born in Belize City, Belize, Central America
She resided in Toronto, Ontario for over 45 years
Survived by Sisters: Anne, Phyllis, Carol, Sharon, Marcia
Brothers: George, Stephen & Nigel
Nieces & Nephews: Anthony, Desiree, Loma, Denise, Brian, Mike, Rachael, Sarah, Sean, Marissa, Meghan, Matthew, Kevin, Shavonne & Elijah
She loved travelling to Europe and Caribbean, she enjoyed a glass or two of Merlot, while watching Coronation Street and she was one of the biggest fans of the Toronto Blue Jays.
She was a brave woman who battled stage 4 breast cancer for 10 years and worked in Insurance industry until she was unable to continue. In the last month of her life she was diagnosed with Leptomeningeal Disease.
A Memorial will be held at the Cardinal Funeral Homes Ltd. “Bathurst Chapel” (366 Bathurst Street, North of Dundas Street W. 416-603-1444) on Sunday September 30, 2018 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served immediately after the Memorial service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kensington Hospice.
