It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who left us too soon and too suddenly. She passed away in hospital at the young age of 78 years. We are finding peace and comfort knowing she is now free of pain.
Margi is lovingly remembered by her beloved children Nicole Sheldon (Robert Clark), Kelly Smith (Dwight), Julie Leggett (Don), and Bob Sheldon (Lety) and her grandchildren, Tyler (Krista), Brady (Sara), Rebecca,… Jonathan, Devanee, Seeley, Benjamin, Alexander, Sadie, Ally, Storm, and five great-grandchildren. Margi is survived by her sisters Edie Cubbon (Barrie), Lesley Oliver (John), and Mickey McDonald (Steve White) and all their families. Along with her family, Margi was blessed with many friends, who will also miss her.
Margi was an inspiration in our lives. She lived her life brightly, courageously, and with a loving heart. Margi was surrounded and held by her family and friends until she took her last breath. She died how she lived – loved and with dignity.
A celebration of life will be held at the Okotoks United Church, Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Multiple Sclerosis, Juvenile Diabetes Association or the Mount St. Francis Retreat Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
