Obituary for Margaret « Peggy » Walsh (Oliver)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Margaret “Peggy” Walsh (nee Oliver) in Sudbury, Ontario on Monday March 12th, 2018 at the age of 79. She was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia; moved to Boston, MA; and then came back to Bowland’s Bay (Skead) in the early 1970’s. She moved to Garson for the remainder of her days. She was a former Health Care Aide at DPH Sudbury, but she was affectionately known as the “Pinto Lady” during her 18 years working at the Lasalle Pinto. Beloved wife of the late Colin “Duke” Walsh. Loving mother of Robert (Marlene McIntosh) and William (Lisa Lalonde). Dear sister to and predeceased by her brother William Oliver (late Marjorie). She loved shopping with her sister-in-law Rita. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In keeping with Peggy’s wishes, there will be no visitation, no funeral, and no service. Sincere thanks to the staff at the Maison McCulloch Hospice for their kindness and great care of Peggy during her stay.
