Margaret McArthur Wishart
Wishart, Margaret McArthur
Peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on May 9, 2018. Beloved wife, partner and friend of Don, mother of Bob (Kathy), and Audrey (pre-deceased) and Granny of Kandice (Lionel), Kaitlyn (Robbie) and her grand-puppies (Chika, Lola and Charlotte). Pre-deceased by her parents (James and Christina Whyte) and brother and sisters in Dundee, Scotland. Survived by several nieces and nephews in Scotland.
Margaret was very proud of her Scottish heritage. Her family and friends meant everything to her and she was never happier than when she was with the ones she loved, singing a song, dancing or just talking.
Margaret was a devoted, long-time member of St. Columba Presbyterian Church, and most recently the shared services with Pioneer United Church.
The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff at St. Joseph’s Dialysis Clinic (King Street location) for the special care, treatment and attention that Margaret received over the past three years. Special thanks to the compassionate and dedicated staff of Hamilton General Hospital’s Integrated Stroke Unit.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Check on-line at www.canadiancremation.com after May 28, 2018 for details on the location and times for the Celebration of Life.
