Helen Margaret “Marg” Harper, of Kincardine, passed away at John Joseph Place, Owen Sound on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in her 80th year.
Beloved wife of George Alderman.
Loving mother of Kevin (Liz) Purves of Tiverton, Dianne Woodfull (Kevin Bell) of Oshawa, Doug Purves (Regan Boris) of Windsor and Julie (Ken) Fair of Kincardine.
Dear grandmother of Keith & Jared, Aaron (Marissa) & Tara (Paul), Patrick & Danielle, Mandi (Matt) & Janah (Brian) and great-grandmother of Blaise & Avery.
Missed by sisters Ruth Moore of Michigan, Karen (Tom) McNeil of Milton, Joan Pettigrew of Southampton, brothers Ken (Rhodina) Pettigrew of Sarnia, Bill (Becky) Pettigrew of Alberta and Tom Pettigrew of Georgetown, sister-in-law Sharon Pettigrew of Penetanguishene.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her brother Donald Pettigrew.
Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home on Monday, May 28 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 29 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Bob Geddes officiating.
Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Parkinson Foundation or the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
