WEBB, Margaret Isabelle (nee Thompson) passed away peacefully Friday July 13, 2018 at her Chartwell home in London surrounded by the love of family and an amazing group of caregivers.
Margaret was born Feb 26 1922 in Margaret, Manitoba and lived most of her life in Chatham and Windsor, Ontario. She returned to Manitoba to complete her Bachelor of Science degree then completed her dietician training in Ottawa and London.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Norman Walter Webb in 1973. She lived independently as an inspiration to all of us until 2010 when Alzheimer’s dictated that she needed the care that Chartwell offered.
She has been lovingly supported by daughters Wendy Markham (Tom 2000) and Linda Lauzon (Rick). She adored her grandchildren Christie Bray (Keith) and Michael Lauzon (Mistine) and great grandchildren Breanna Bray, Kylie Bray, Jack Lauzon and Stetson Lauzon, who will miss her greatly. She will be remembered fondly by her sister Ruth Walters (Bucky) and sisters in law Joyce Webb (Donald 2005) and Jacqueline Webb (Wilfred 2017). Margaret was predeceased by her brothers Jack Thomson (Lillian), Malcolm Thompson (Pauline) and sister in law Mary Louise Fisher (Bud). She is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Besides her professional career as a dietician, Margaret lived a very active life curling, playing bridge, enjoying memberships in University Women’s Club Windsor, Book Club, Questors, Roseland United Church, St Andrews Presbyterian Church and passionately following her Detroit Tigers.
Cremation has taken place, care of London Cremation Services. A graveside service and internment will take place in Windsor at Victoria Memorial Gardens (Oldcastle) on Friday July 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
