YANOFSKY, (Margaret) Anne – age 77, of Halifax passed away peacefully Sunday January 7, 2018 in Halifax, NS at the Geriatric Assessment Unit. Originally from Trail, BC, Anne settled in Halifax in the early 1960’s. Anne was a teacher and supporter to countless students and colleagues during her time teaching Microbiology at the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology (now Nova Scotia Community College). Her thirst for knowledge and learning was exemplified when she decided to further her education at Mount Saint Vincent University completing both her BA and MA while teaching full time and raising her teenage children.
