Marcelo Fernandez
Peacefully, on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Marcelo Fernandez passed away at the age of 88 years.
Marcelo was predeceased by his beloved wife Glorina in 2015. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Remedios (Nelson) Tan, Daisy (Arnold) Maranan, Jennie Fernandez, Aurea (Marino) Manuel, Eddie (Glamor), Zaldy (Catherine), son-in-law Freddie Pineda, 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
Marcelo will be fondly remembered as a family man. He emigrated in the 80’s and was lovingly known for his hard work. He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.
Lamay (Viewing) will be held on Thursday, July 05, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. Prayers will be said at 7:30 pm. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Edward’s Parish, 818 Arlington Street at 10:00 am, Friday, July 06, 2018. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family wish to extend a special thanks to Seven Oaks Hospital, 5th floor, unit 4 and 7 for their loving care and support given to our “Tatay”.
