OBITUARY
Manda PASTULOVIC
June 7, 1932 – October 21, 2018
Manda Pastulovic, 86, of New Westminster, passed away on Sunday October 21, 2018 at Laurel Place Hospice Surrey BC.
Visitation will be held at Evangelist Chapel at Gardens of Gethsemani Cemetery on Friday October 26, 2018 at 10:30am.
Funeral service and Catholic Mass will be held at Evangelist Chapel at Gardens of Gethsemani Cemetery 15694 32nd Avenue Surrey BC at 11:00am. Burial/Interment will follow. First Memorial Fraser Heights Chapel is handling the funeral arrangements.
Manda was born in Gospic, Croatia to late Marko and Marija Brajkovic on June 8, 1932.
Manda is preceded in death by her husband, Franjo Pastulovic. Son Milan Pastulovic, 3 brothers in Croatia and 1 brother in Winnipeg Manitoba.
Manda is survived and will be forever missed by her Sons, Zejlko Pastulovic (Irena), Franjo (Frank) Pastulovic (Lidia), John (Ivica) Pastulovic, daughter Zeljka Pastulovic. Grandchildren Zeljko, Zolton, Irena, Marko, Kyle, Mikeal, Niko, Christopher, Jonathan, Kassandra and their respective partners or spouses. Sister Ana Rozmaric (Misko). Great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Flowers may be sent to Gardens of Gethsemani Cemetery 15694 32nd Avenue Surrey BC on or before Thursday October 25, 2018. Condolences may be left in Manda’s online guestbook by clicking « Show Your Support » below.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to BC Cancer Society, Laurel Place Hospice and Royal Columbian Hospital. Without the incredibly compassionate staff working at all these places, Mom’s final months would have been a lot harder.
God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you, and whispered « Come to me. »
With tearful eyes we watched you as you slowly slipped away, and though we loved you dearly, we couldn’t make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating, your tired hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
