It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Malcolm “Malkie” MacLeod, surrounded by his family at age 73 on Monday, May 7, 2018 in Hamilton, Ontario. Malcom was born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia and moved to Toronto when he was 16 years old. Malcolm had a deep affection for his roots and family in Cape Breton. He was an avid sports fan and his true joy in life was watching his son Anthony and his granddaughter Emma play hockey. Malcolm is survived by the love of his life, his wife Marjorie, his son Anthony (Carrie) and granddaughter Emma of Hamilton as well his brother Paul (Darlene) of Sydney Mines and Anthony (Arlene) of Burlington, as well as several beloved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alma and Alexander MacLeod, his brother Billy MacLeod, all of North Sydney and his sister Mary Macleod of Fredericton. Please join us for a celebration of Malkie’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1180 Barton St. E, Hamilton on Saturday, May 12th from 1 – 4 p.m.
