Madeline Kinequon

December 11, 1929 – June 22, 2018
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Madeline Kinequon (nee Worme). She was called home by The Creator on Friday, June 22nd, 2018, at the age of 88 years.
She spent her final years in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, however she spent much of her life raising her family and pursuing a career in health care in the Punnichy area. Originally a member of the Kawacatoose band, she spent much of her life raising her family on Day Star First Nation with her predeceased husband (Anthony Kinequon).
Madeline will be forever missed by her loving children Gary Kinequon (Leona), Janet Littlechild, and Glen Kinequon (Bernadette), younger sister Lillian Dong, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special daughter-in-laws Corrina Wajuntah, Rose Kinequon, and Andrea Gladue, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Madeline was predeceased by her parents Edward Worm and Flora (Nee Favel); husband Anthony Kinequon; daughter Judith; two sons Anthony (Lucky) and Wayne Kinequon; brothers Bill, Hilliard, Peter, Edwin, Glen and Irvin; sisters Margaret, Florence, and Rose.
The family would like to acknowledge DCF Saskatoon Health Region, Home Care, and Occupational Therapy Staff for their devotion and compassion to our beloved Mother during her final years.
Wake will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at 4 pm in the Day Star Community Center, Day Star First Nation. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 26 at 11 am in the same location. Arrangements entrusted to Conley Funeral Home, Raymore, SK. ph. 306-746-1000
