Madeline Esther Fisher
1927-2018
Madeline Esther Fisher – age 91, of New Minas, passed away on
Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in Grand View Manor, Berwick.
Born in Lockhartville, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late
Aubrey and Evelyn (Tracey) Schofield. She was a loving mother,
grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, homemaker and
friend who enjoyed bowling and later, traveling. She is survived by
two sons, Douglas (Beverly), Alberta and Brian (Bernice), South
Berwick; daughter-in-law, Sharon; a brother, Burton, Falmouth; a
sister, Vivian (David) Shaw, Windsor Forks; seven grandchildren, 10
great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; a son, Joseph;
two sisters, Myrna and Helen; six brothers, Doug, Harley, Earl, Irvin,
Carl and Milton. Cremation has taken place and there will be no
visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m.
on Monday, September 24, 2018 in the St. Croix Cemetery. A reception
will follow in the Three Mile Plains Community Hall. Donations in
memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
Cremation Services, Kentville.
