DONMOYER, Mabel « Mibs » (nee Walkington)- Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, at the L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018, in her 97th year. Cherished wife of the late Jack Donmoyer (2004). Loving mom to Rick, Ben, Chris « Critter » (Jane) Smith, and Pat Miller. Special Nanny/Grandma to Ricky (Stacey) Smith, Christine (Tyler) Smith, Paula (Sean) Ikeno, Adam (Morisa) Miller, Scott (Shaunnie) Miller, Ryan (Amanda) Miller, Steve (Aimee) Kelly, Chantelle Dimmers, and Elizabeth and Pauli Shearer. Proud great Grandmother to seven and one on the way. Predeceased by her infant son, Ronald (1949), her son Mike Smith (2016),and her son-in- law Paul Shearer (2018). Mabel will be truly missed by her Donmoyer family, sister-in-law Joyce Rogerson, her many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Mabel was the last of six children in her family. She was a past Cricket Queen in England and arrived in Canada in 1946 as a war bride. Mabel enjoyed spending her time knitting, tending to her beautiful plants, and keeping up to date with the Royal Family. Mabel’s family was the love of her life, she always had time for a cup of tea and a visit. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 for a time of visitation from 10 to 11 am with the memorial service being held at 11:00 am in the chapel.
