OBITUARY
Lynette Marie (Jarvis) Snowball
August 14, 1936 – July 5, 2018
Passed away July 5, 2018 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother as well as aunt, friend and member of her church. Lynn was loved and respected by all who had the chance to know her. She was a proud retired RN and military spouse who was active and passionate about both careers. Lynn is survived by a loving immediate family including her two daughters Jennifer Uhryniw and her partner Don and Anne Da Silva and her partner Jan Blackmore. The proud grandmother of Ariel Uhryniw Farrell and her partner Michael, Jonah Uhryniw, Victoria Da Silva, Darby Blackmore and Meagan Firth Sellers and husband Jesse and great grandmother to Freya Farrell and Charlie Sellers. Born in Antigonish and predeceased by her parents James and Hilda Jarvis, sister Carol Parks and brother Buster (James) Jarvis and brothers-in-law Harold Feltmate & William Snowball and sister-in-law Mildred Snowball. She is survived by her sisters Beatrice Eisler and Nan Feltmate, and brother Alan Jarvis, sisters-in-law Gail Jarvis, Sharon Jarvis, Dorothy Snowball, Joy Dykeman (Snowball) and brothers-in-law Cecil Parks and Peter Snowball. She is also survived by numerous and loved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews on both sides of this wonderful family. Last but not least Lynn is survived by her faithful companions Gigi and Squirt who will be lost without her. A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn United Church, Tuesday July 10, 2018 at 2:00pm and all are welcome. Lynn will be interred in Ottawa next to her loving husband of 49 years John David Snowball at a later date. Donations to the Lung Association may be made in lieu of flowers.
