Lynda Jean Salahub
Lynda passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital on Thursday November 29th, 2018. Lynda was born in Invermere, BC on June 6th, 1948.
She was predeceased by her father David Sawchuk.
She is survived by her mother Betty Sawchuk and her loving husband of 51 years, Orest; children Bill (Amy), Mike (Audrey), Andy (Karen) and Katherine; 4 grandchildren Connor, Jane, Reese and Owen. She is also survived by her brother Don Sawchuk (Joyce), sister Darlene Halayko (Cliff) as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and close family friends.
Lynda worked in the meat department for Westfair Foods for many years and thoroughly enjoyed working with the public. Lynda was an avid gardener and enjoyed her time coming up with new concoctions in the kitchen. Lynda and Orest enjoyed traveling together and treasured any time spent with her dear family and long time friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Willows Golf & Country Club (382 Cartwright St, Furdale, SK) on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
