Obituary for
Luigi Porco
It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to a
loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. Luigi
passed away peacefully on October 4, 2018 at
the age of 85. Luigi is survived by his loving
wife of 57 years, Rita; children Rosa
(Giovanni), Maria (Stephen); granddaughter
Rita and grandson Giuseppe; sisters Emma
and Assunta (Luigi) . He was pre-deceased by sisters Maria and Luigina,
his brother Francesco, and brother in law Giuseppe
A prayer service will be
held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 7:30
p.m. at St. Augustine’s Parish 2028 West 7th
Ave., Vancouver. Funeral Mass will be
celebrated at St. Augustine’s Parish on
Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
Entombment will follow at the OceanView
Burial Park Abbey Mausoleum. In lieu of
flowers, a donation can be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society.
Luigi was a man who loved life and made
everyone feel like family.We are going to miss
his warm smile, jokes and constant laughter.
Not a day will go by that we won’t miss you.
You are forever loved, may you rest in eternal
peace.
