Passed away peacefully on April 28th 2018 with her loving family at her side. Luella was born May 15th 1927 in Counsel Saskatchewan, a beautiful daughter and the 12th child of 13 children born to Johannes and Anna Wiig.
In 1945 Mom met the love of her life Tom Davidson. They fell head over heels in love and were wed May 1st 1946. They were happily married for 62 wonderful years. Mom was very active in her church and an amazing leader in women’s AGLOW. Mom considered coming to know Jesus as her lord and saviour as the most important event in her life. Mom led many people to the lord and prayed fervently for her family and others.
Mom loved to entertain and their home was always filled with family and friends enjoying moms wonderful hospitality. Moms life was a legacy of love and generosity and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her especially her children, son Richard Thomas (Gita) of Vancouver ; daughters, Christine (Paul) of Kelowna, Michelle (Kevin) of Australia, Laurie (David) of Kelowna and Pamela (Richard) of Kelowna ; thirteen grandchildren ; eight great grandchildren
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday May 6th at 615 Glen Meadows Road club house Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, would be greatly appreciated as 2 of her grandchildren are hoping for a cure.
