OBITUARY
Louis « Luigi » Di Giacomo
February 15, 1934 – August 9, 2018
It is with great sadness that we said farewell to our dear Louis on August 9, 2018 in his 84 year. Beloved husband to Josie (Giuseppina Arcaro) for 61 years. Loving father of Jim (Hilary Parks), Mary Ann (Lucio D’Intino), and of his late son Robert. Louis will be fondly remembered by his 5 grandchildren, Joseph (Laura), Stephen (Sara), Michael, Elizabeth and Jayne, and his little great-grandson, Sebastian. He also leaves to mourn his sister-in-law Elena (Didier), as well as many family and friends. Visitation will take place at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal QC H4A 1W5 on August 15 from 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 9pm and Thursday, August 16 from 9am. His funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Monica’s Parish (6405 Terrebonne, Montreal, QC H4B 1A8) on August 16, at 10am. Louis will be laid to rest at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery following the mass. A special thank you to all the caregivers who have assisted in his care throughout the years: Lennox, Suzanne, Simon, Tim, and Bianca. The family is also very grateful to all the staff of D-south on the 9 floor of the Royal Victoria Hospital and the entire staff of the Father Dowd Residence for all their wonderful care and comfort. In lieu of flowers donations to the Mab-Mackay Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
