Louis Gilbert « Banjo » Morin
Heaven’s gate opened up on Thursday December 13, 2018 to take Banjo to his final resting place. Passed away peacefully at 89 years of age with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Doris (nee Dean) for 61 years. Loving father of Ernie and Maureen Butler-Morin, Laurie Faucher, Lisa and Jim Neufeld. Precious grandfather of Grant, Brodie, Ashley (Aaron), Natalie, Edward (Brooke), Lee-Ann and Josh. Great grandfather of Landon and Aiden. Son of the late Cecile and Louis. Dear brother of Margaret Buhlman (late Jack), Mary Lou Chibi (late Frank), Norman Martin (Rita). Will be missed by in-laws Doris Martin, Margaret Goulin, Frances Pilon, Tibby Tonello, Merle Cameron and many other family members and friends. Banjo has enjoyed many years of retirement from the Steam Fitters Local 527. If you desire memorial tributes to the St. John the Baptist Restoration Fund would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday Dec. 22, 2018 from 9:30 am until time of memorial service at 11:30 am at Families First 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841.
