Obituary of Lou Chonka
CHONKA, Lou. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Louis Chonka on Monday August 27, 2018 at Northland Pointe in Port Colborne. Lou was a hardworking man who was a natural athlete, successful coach, educator, journalist and businessman. He was predeceased by his loving wife Helen (née Bendes), and his parents Louis and Rose Chonka. Lou will be greatly missed by his son Alan Chonka of Fonthill, daughter Laura and son-in-law Larry Mishaw, as well as his grandchildren Joshua and Jessica Mishaw. Visitation will take place on Thursday August 30, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street., Port Colborne. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
