Lorne passed away at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital after a battle with Cancer.
Lorne is survived by his wife Joanne of 53 years, sons Ron (Theresa) and Tony (Kelly), grandchildren Ricky (Aryn), Teagan (Josh), Tanner, Chase (Skylar) and Tereva. Siblings Gilbert (Judi), Stan (Edna), Maxine (John), Doug (Anna), Bob (Diane), Wally (Donna), in-laws Dolly (Terry) Randall, Ronda (Tom) Gallik and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Dorothy Neufeld, brothers Laverne and Gerald, in-laws John and Dorothy Pietila and brother in-laws Rick and Clarence.
Lorne spent the majority of his life working at Carpentry with a stint in logging and Real Estate. He loved the peace and quiet of the wilderness, fishing, hunting, mushroom and berry picking. He was fortunate to have 10 plus years at the Cottage at Cedar Lake and liked to boast about being one of the big three.
Thank you to the nurses on 3E, Dr. David Kyle and others who cared for Lorne.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
MISS ME BUT LET ME GO
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I hope you will realize my pain at last is free,
