Lois Paris
1949-2018
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lois Irene Paris, age 69,
of Sus, NB, wife of Ralph Paris, announces her death which occurred
on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her residence in Sus, NB. She was born
in Perth Andover, NB, on January 30, 1949, a daughter of the late
LeRoy and Eleanor (Hudson) Pirie.
She is survived by her husband Ralph of 52 years; daughter Shelley
Paris of Brookville, ON; son John Paris and his wife Nancy of Red
Deer, AB; two grandchildren Colin (Gabriella) O’Neill, Dakota O’Neill;
brother Danny Pirie and his wife Paula of Perth Andover, NB; sisters
Jackie Smith and her husband Millage of Moncton, NB, Sharon Giljam and
her husband Dan of New Maryland, USA, Nancy Dyer of Sus, NB; as
well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her
grandson Joshua O’Neill; brother Richard Pirie and sister Patricia
Sullivan.
Lois worked as a Sales Clerk at Black’s Fashions and also at the
hospital in Perth Andover along with owning and operating a car wash
there. Attended Bethany Bible College (now Kingswood University) and
became an employee.
Faith was the most important thing to Lois and helping family, friends
and those in need to find and grow their faith was her purpose.
Her hobbies included a love for music, dancing, tending her flower
gardens, picking potatoes, making home made ice cream, knitting,
sewing and hockey. Lois enjoyed doing housework and volunteer work
and helping her grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home,
34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, (506-433-1176) from where visitation will
be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 4 to 8pm.
The Celebration of Lois’s life will be held from Wallace Community
Chapel on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00am. The interment will take
place in South Tilley, NB on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11:30am.

recommended the Heart and Stroke, Kidney Foundation or the Canadian
Cancer Society.
