Lois Marie Davis
Lois M.
Davis, 79, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital
on Thursday, May 3, 2018.
Born in
White Rapids, she was the daughter of the late William Mahoney and
Martin and Lynetta (Gratton)
Dunn.
Lois was a
retired Registered Nurse and a graduate of The Moncton Hospital School
of Nursing, Class of 1959.
Lois will be
sadly missed by her daughter, Stephanie Davis (Glen Carrigan) of
Halifax, NS; grandchildren, Julie Anna Vincent and Luke Vincent, both
of Halifax, Katie McVicar (John) of Edmonton, AB and William, James,
Peter and Thomas Davis of Quispamsis; daughter-in-law, Mary Davis of
Quispamsis; sisters, Liz Ionson of Ennismore, ON, Connie Ross of
Salisbury, Pat Otis of Long Beach, CA, Kathleen Coughlan (Winston) of
Miramichi and Mary Dunn of White Rapids; brothers, John Dunn (Glenda)
of Sarnia, ON, Linus Dunn (Kathy) and James Dunn (Nancy), both of
Moncton; sister-in-law, Gwen Mahoney of Petitcodiac and many nieces,
nephews and extended family
members.
In addition
to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Reginald (2009);
son, Bill (2008) and brother, Bill Mahoney
(2007).
Visitation
at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Sunday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour
Lois’ life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on
Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Phil Mulligan presiding. A
reception will follow in the Funeral Home Reception
Centre.
