OBITUARY
Lois Jennie Magee
2 July , 1931 – 22 April , 2018
Passed away at Freeport Hospital on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the age of 86 years.
Beloved daughter of the late Archie and Mabel Magee. Dear sister of Hugh Magee (Sherri). Also remembered by her nieces, nephews, and close friends. Lois lived a very full and enjoyable life. A strong student, she earned a scholarship to the University of Toronto, graduating with honours. She continued on to teacher’s college, and embarked on a teaching career in which she taught home and abroad. Lois also became very proficient in speaking French, German, and some Spanish. Later she went on to broaden her horizons by continuing her working years in practising social work and nursing. Lois was a very generous, giving person, volunteering in many worthwhile causes. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be welcomed for a celebration of Lois’ life at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
