Lois Cummings
1960-2018
It is with great sadness that we announce passing of Lois Ann
Cummings, age 57, which occurred on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the
Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on November 28,
1960, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Mary (Tays)
Hardy.
Lois is survived by her loving daughters, Jodi Hourihan and
her husband Kirk of Norton, NB; Jenna Mullin and her husband Jake of
Sus, NB; and Katelin Cummings and her boyfriend Paul Otten of
Fredericton, NB; cherished grandchildren: Emily, Austin, Courtny,
Brock, Luke and baby Clark, who is expected to arrive in September;
sisters: Linda Savoie and her husband Eloi of Saint John, NB; Brenda
Gionet of Sus, NB; Nancy Hardy of Sus, NB; Kathleen Steeves and
her husband Calvin of Moncton, NB; Susan McDermot and her husband Kent
of Saint John, NB; and Carol Shroder and her husband Kris of Edmonton,
AB; as well as several very special nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s
Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road,
Norton, NB, where visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018
from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on
Friday, June 29 at 11:00am from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church
with Father Dan Bastarache presiding. Interment will follow in Sacred
Heart Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Lois may be made to the Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the memorial of the
donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and
