Lloyd Thibodeau
1938-2018
Bathurst – Lloyd Thibodeau, 80,
beloved husband of Shirley (Doucet) Thibodeau, of Basin St., Bathurst,
passed away on Saturday December 2, 2018 at his
home.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of
the late Leon and Celine (Gagnon)
Thibodeau.
Lloyd was retired after 41 years of
employment from the former Smurfit Stone Paper
Mill.
Besides his wife, he is survived by
two children: Drew (Krista) of Fredericton and
Dawn Thibodeau (David Ellis) of Salmon
Beach.
Three grandchildren whom he adored:
Mya, Jordyn and Ashton.
Four sisters: Elvira
Lavigne (Clarence), Doreen Black (Byard),
Irene Langlois and Carole O’Neil (Daniel
« Jr. ») all of
Bathurst.
Two brothers:
Allen Thibodeau (Annette) of South Tetagouche and
Kenneth Thibodeau (Diane) of Bathurst.
Several nieces and
nephews.
He was pre-deceased by four sister,
Thelma Babin, Lillian Grey, Barbara Roy, Anne Marie Lanagan and one
brother, Patrick.
The family will receive relative and
friends at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com),
Bathurst, on Wednesday December 5, 2018 from 2 p.m. until time of
Funeral Mass at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew
St., Bathurst. Donations in memory of Lloyd may be made to
the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donors
choice.
