MUNROE-Lloyd Frederick Munroe – “Gorilla” “Bubba”- Eastern Passage. March 3, 1965 – August 11, 2018
Larger than life in every way. The biggest part of him was his enormous heart. A member of the Canadian Coast Guard, a fisherman, biker and friend to many and supporter of all. Tragically taken away too quickly from the love of his life, his wife Cara. Leaving a hole in the hearts of those left behind. His adoring sister Michelle and his brother-in-law and in life, Allan. His beloved nieces and nephews, Jackie, Angel, Stephen, Cody and Danielle, his father and mother-in-law who loved him like a son, George and Velda LeFrank, and his extended families. He was pre-deceased by his father, Fred and mother, Thelma. He will be best remembered by the stories he told and the hearts he touched. A celebration of his life will be held at the Buffalo Club, Eastern Passage, on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. following a memorial biker’s ride at 2:00 p.m. from Coast Guard base at BIO to the Buffalo Club. A second Celebration of Life service will be held in Canso on Sunday 9:00-10:30 a.m. at All Saints Anglican Church, followed by laying of wreaths. A reception will be held for family and friends at the Canso Fire Hall 4:30-6:00 p.m. Donations may be made to Bikers Down Society in Memory of Lloyd.
