Obituary of Lisa Summers Tyas
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on Thursday, January 4, 2018, Lisa Summers Tyas of Victoria, age 53 years. Predeceased by father: Leslie Summers. Leaving to mourn, husband: Malcolm; two daughters: Samria and Dinah; four step-children: Michael, Jared (Amanda), Paul (Megan), and Leah (Pete); four step-grandchildren: Claire, Ellaura, Madelyn, and Sawyer; mother: Joan Summers; three brothers: Wade (Cheryl), Peter (Judy), and Jeremy (Cheryl); three sisters: Sandra, Joye (Vernon), and Blanche (Brian); also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Diabetes Association, 29 Pippy Place, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3X2 or diabetes.ca.
