OBITUARY
Linda Ruth Thomas
June 7, 1953 – November 23, 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Ruth Thomas. Born in Oshawa, ON to Keith and Kathleen Beacock. Linda rode to BC on her motorcycle in 1973 and led a wonderful life in the Lower Mainland. Linda was an avid Harley Davidson biker babe, a talented artist, a loving wife, a beloved sister, a faithful friend and a devoted animal lover. Linda loved to travel, and was a friendly, engaging person who saw good things in everyone she met. Linda saw the world as a colourful, vibrant place to be and would light up a room just by being there. She went on many motorcycle trips, and enjoyed cruising with her husband, John. Linda was a member of the Burlington MC, Coast Riders MC, and HOG. As we all said, “the party starts when Linda walked or rode in.” Linda will be missed.
Linda is predeceased by her parents, and her younger sister Carol. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, John; stepdaughters Angela (Jason) and Leah (Bob); sister Susan (Mark); brother Brian (Aileen); nieces Jessie, Amy, & Emily; nephews Kyle & Alex (Sandy); seven grandchildren, and her dog Kikit.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA in Linda’s memory would be warmly appreciated by the family.
