Cupido, Linda Jane (nee DeLuca)
After many trying health issues Linda passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the age of 69. Linda was a vibrant, cheerful, Go Get’Em person, who lived for her family, her municipality and her province. With many civic and provincial awards, she was a testament to what people can achieve with a little work. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Dan of almost 48 years, her son Richard (Kate), her daughter Gina (Vince) and her grandchildren: Lucas, Charlotte, Dominic and Carter. Feeling her loss also are her brother Bill (Mary Catherine), and her sisters Sandra (Lou) and Cathy (Scott). Along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her father-in-law Guido (Curly) Cupido, Brother-in-Law Ray (Lorraine) Cupido and many close dear friends, especially, Karen Phelps. Many thanks to the staff at the Cancer Clinic at Joseph Brant Hospital, Dr. Michael J. Foster. Also to be mentioned with heartfelt thanks are Dr. John Turnbull, Jane Allan, Barb Miller and Dr. Steven Baker in the Neurology Department at McMaster Hospital.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 and Monday, October 29, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (261 Plains Rd E, Burlington) on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:30am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Reception to follow at the church. For those who wish memorial donations to a charity of choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
