Linda M. Hawkins
Linda Mae Hawkins ,69, of Halifax passed away on July 20 2018.
Born in Hortonville she was a daughter of the late James Keating and Kathleen Norton. Linda worked for many years with Canadian Linen Co. and was a long time member of Atlantic Ministry of the Deaf.
Linda is survived by her husband Donald of Halifax, brothers-in-law, John Hawkins, Douglas Hawkins, sister-in-law Arlene LaFramboise, as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by brothers
Harold Norton, Fred Norton, Donald (Keating), Norton Robert (Honey) Norton, sisters, Eva (Norton) Vaughan, Helen (Norton) Wellwood
Ruth (Keating) Weagle. Linda was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
There will be no Visitation. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 1st, at 11:00 am in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd. Halifax. Interment in Oakridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the CNIB or the S.D.H.H.N.S.
