Ripley, Lillian Ruth – 67, Gulf Shore, passed away in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, and is finally at peace after years of illness. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Eleanor (Cummings) Ripley. Lillian had a career in law enforcement with the Fredericton, NB City Police for 25 years, where she closed out her career as an Inspector. She had an impact and will be missed by family and many friends from the Gulf Shore, Pugwash and Fredericton. Her family, close and distant, were everything to her. Lillian is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Fred Frenette; son, Shane (Christine) Wall, Halifax; daughter, Kalin (Greg) MacDonald, Calgary, AB; as well as step-daughters, Michelle (Tyson) Firlotte, Macon, GA; Danielle (Joey) Hollett, Lawn, NL; brothers, Dennis (Shirley), Saint John, NB; Doug (Loren), Kamloops, BC. She loved and adored her grandchildren, Logan, Jackson, Hailey, Tristan, Brandon and Cameron. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford (902-447-2930). A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations to a favourite charity would be appreciated by the family.
