Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Miller Centre. Lillian Maude Dominix, 84 years, formerly a resident of Belleoram, resided in Portugal Cove-St. Philips with her Daughter Debbie and Son-In-Law Ashley, along with two of her grandchildren Stephen and Sarah. Anyone that knew Maude would agree that she was one of the gentlest souls you would ever meet, who had a huge heart and a smile to match.
Predeceased by her husband Allan George, Daughters Mary and Una. Left to mourn are her Sons; Hubert (Shirley), Allan (Mary), Carl (Bonnie), Marshall (Melanie) and Eugene (Ann). Daughters; Melinda (Clarence), Vilcey (Joe), Doris (Fonce), Gloria (Bill), Wanda(Clifford) and Debbie (Ashley); son-in-law Freeman; 21 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild. Along with a large circle of friends and relatives.
Special thanks to the Doctors & Nurses at the Miller Centre Palliative Care unit, as well as family and friends who visited mom during her stay.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the St. Lawrence Anglican Church in Belleoram. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow at a later date.
