Peacefully, with family by her side on Saturday, March 10th, 2018. Lillian (nee Palmer) of Owen Sound in her 103rd year. Beloved wife of the late Russel Greig. Dear mother of Shirley Woods of Port Elgin, Patsy Dodd of Owen Sound, Sharon and her husband Dave Schneider of Kitchener, Norman (Mary) of Kitchener, and Sandra and her husband Bev Morrison of Port Elgin. Sadly missed by her 24 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 42 great great grandchildren. Also survived by daughter-in-law Sylvia, son-in-law Gerry Rumig, and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Jack, her daughters Betty Deer and Gail Rumig, sons-in-law Doug Brown and Irwin Dodd, granddaughter Penny, grandson Rick, great grandson Tyler, by her brother Sterling Palmer and her sister Elda Clark.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 from 7-9pm and on Wednesday, March 14th from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am at the Tannahill Funeral Home, 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710. Spring Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.
