On Sunday, November 25 Liam’s life was taken prematurely in an automobile accident. Liam is survived by his parents Dave and Misty; his brother Cobyn; grandparents Dave, Roxanne, Bob, and Carm; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Liam was born in Red Deer and lived briefly in Sylvan Lake before moving to Lacombe and area with his family. Liam had a passion for sports, playing hockey, baseball, and basketball in Lacombe. Liam also loved being in the mountains where he mountain biked and skied with his family and even tried his hand at surfing on a trip to Costa Rica.
Liam was happiest when outdoors whether it was playing his guitar around the campfire on family camping trips, cliff jumping with his big brother, or brandings at his grandfather’s ranch, he lived life to the fullest.
Liam’s beautiful smile and caring heart will be sadly missed by all those he touched in his short life and so dearly by his family.
There will be a Celebration of Liam’s Life at the College Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church (on the Burman University campus in Lacombe) at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018.
Donations in Liam’s memory are gratefully accepted to Youth Unlimited in Lacombe or The Boys and Girls Club of Ponoka.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Liam David Hanson-Murphy June 14 2001 November 25 2018 (age 17)..
