Leslie Fraser Allen passed away peacefully on the 17th of December 2018 at the age of 8o. He will be remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Bernice, daughter Kimberly, and son Jeffery as well as son-in-law Guy and daughter-in-law Judy and grandchildren Alexander and Amberlee.
He was predeceased by his father George, mother Ruby, and brother Alex and survived by his sister-in-law Linda, nephew George, wife Melanie and great nephew Alexander.
Leslie “Les” was well known in the communities that he lived in from the lower mainland to the Kootenays and Okanagan. His love for sports and pastimes including curling, golf, softball and the Kettle Valley railroad brought a smile to his face and to those around him. He will be sorely missed but we all know he will be greeting passengers as a conductor on that train in heaven and looking to hit a hole in one on the back nine.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the new year as the sun rises strongly and the flowers begin to bloom. Details will be announced at a later date.
